In the past, I have written posts about my favorite store in the world - Karin's Fine Incidental Home Decor located in Beaver Creek, CO. Usually around Thanksgiving, my family and I hand deliver the items she has ordered for the upcoming Holiday and Ski Season. Her store is beautiful every day of the year but even more so at Christmas. If you are ever in the Vail Valley, make sure to visit. In the meantime, here are a few pictures for you.
I was so excited to see my Christmas Creations in the front window.
Here's what the store looks like as you enter. Very inviting.
While looking at a display of my tissue boxes covers, wastepaper baskets, plaques and french buckets a customer asked if I sleep more than five hours a night. I just smiled and said, "not lately... but it's worth it."
Karin wanted me to create a set of Christmas Placemats. The red and green plaid tablecloth, acorn card holder and decorative serving pieces look so festive along side the Santa Placemat.
One of my most popular designs "Leaping Stag" on a 14 by 14 inch wooden tray.
A picture of one of my large Grape Hods and a French door bucket. The sleeping cherub looks so peaceful. As you can see, Karin's is a beautiful store. I hope you get a chance to see it for yourself soon.
Until next time,
-Robin
